HGV and CPC Training

The HGV & CPC training at Bassi Driving Solutions located in Wolverhampton is aimed at people wanting to become professional heavy goods vehicle (HGV / LGV) drivers, or already-qualified HGV drivers who need their Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC).

The CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) is a legal requirement in the UK for drivers who drive professionally: you must complete a certain amount of periodic training to keep driving legally.

Available Courses

• Class C+E (Articulated) Training: This covers training in larger HGVs with trailers (articulated vehicles) so you can drive heavier combinations

• Theory Test, Hazard Perception and CPC Module 2a : Training provide to help pass the theory elements required for HGV training to commence.

• CPC Module 4 Course: The final part of the Initial Driver CPC required for new professional HGV or PCV drivers in the UK.

• Driver CPC Periodic Training: Once you have your CPC card, you must complete periodic training to stay qualified. Courses are provided in 7 hour sessions to aid in meeting the 35 hour CPC training over 5 years.
